I’m extremely energized, because I just returned from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE) where I had an opportunity to learn about the work of hundreds of nutrition professionals, while also sharing more about the incredible work that we’re doing at PepsiCo.
In many of my own speeches and one-on-one conversations with women at FNCE, I spoke about the importance of something that we’re calling PLAY.
What is PLAY? It’s a simple, positive little acronym that friends, colleagues and others we’ve collaborated with have created. It stands for Protein, Liquid, Activity and You-time.
Be on the lookout for more about PLAY soon on wellowomen.com. But in the meantime, take a little time to think about whether you’re eating enough protein, getting enough liquid, being active, and getting in a little you-time - in whatever ways work for you, each and every day. From what we’re hearing and seeing - it can really help you feel better, and shine brighter.
And special thanks to all of the wonderful people who attended, participated in, and helped organize the activities and events we sponsored at FNCE. It was an amazing four days!
