Conversations about women's wellbeing

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks - jam packed with meetings and workshops.  That’s meant very little time to update this blog!   After an exciting 2 days at the AIGA Design for Good workshop in New York on August 10 & 11, I had the pleasure of spending last week with a group of students participating in the Chicago Innovation Chase All-Stars competition at PepsiCo.

I first met the founders of this competition, Jodi Houlihan and Daniya Kamran, while checking into a hotel several months ago.  After learning more about their organization, Eurekatory, I was intrigued by their vision of using disruptive techniques to attract and retain STEM students (…students in the fields of Science Technology Engineering and Math).

We decided to work together to create a competition for STEM students at PepsiCo, where they would engage with employees and agency partners at our corporate headquarters to develop strategies for a new nutrition business.

I know everyone involved had as much fun over the course of the week as I did, and found it to be an incredibly rewarding experience.  Check out these videos posted by Eurekatory of the students!  And if you’re interested in learning more about how you can support the development of STEM talent,  please check out Eurekatory!
